The EMDR Canada Conference team wanted a reflective and heartwarming film that captured the highlights from their 2025 conference.

Key challenges were the conference lighting, creating a powerful story using the least amount of dialogue possible from hours of transcripts and creating a seamless edit that takes the viewer on an emotional journey in 2 minutes.

We brought in lights to address the lighting issue and composed our shots for the most flattering light. Shana knew what she wanted regarding dialogue due to discussions with the EMDR team, and our experience as filmmakers allowed us to identify the emotional beats for a seamless edit.

A month before the conference started, Shana discussed the schedule and vision for the videos with the conference team. Before shooting, Shana created an original concept for the highlight video and outlined the footage needed for the testimonial and social media videos.

This project included a total of 21 videos.

The project took 2 months to complete from concept to the final delivery.
