Spiritual Growth- Developing the Larynx Chakra Through Balanced Duties

To recap what we have learned so far in the development of the Larynx-Throat Chakra, firstly we examined ideas. We examined the importance of forming ideas correctly, or more specific, based on real conscious facts examined through our sensing world. Secondly, we proceeded to decisions. We learned the importance of well-reasoned deliberation and restraint when making a decision. No small feat! The coined term “when in doubt, don’t” is accurate beyond description. Because you started with the first and second petal making sound decisions will start to become the right ones. Thirdly, we then proceeded to speech. We looked at the fact that every word we utter should have substance and meaning. A true challenge for most of us! The coined term “only do what you SAY you are going to do”, nothing else. When we develop this skill we will always think before making a decision and only share with others after there is no doubt about the decision, no turning back! Fourthly, we next proceeded to actions. We learned how actions should be executed, by basing our actions in such a manner that we manage our affairs so that they fit both with the affairs of others and with events around us. The key here is to strive to live in harmony with both nature and spirit. Fifthly, we proceeded to life balance. We learned the importance of setting the proper pace when we go about our activities, to not be overhasty, nor slow and lazy.

Today we will endeavour to understand the sixth petal, BALANCE DUTIES. This soul process has to do with human striving or effort. The key here is to assess your talents and abilities and then act in accordance with this self-knowledge. We should NOT try do anything that lies BEYOND our powers and abilities, yet we must always do everything that lies within our powers to do. At the same time, it is important we set ourselves aspirations connected to humanity’s great IDEALS and OBLIGATIONS. This is key. We must endeavour to not thoughtlessly place ourselves as mere COGS in the vast human machine. Not an easy task in this day and age of high speed technology, right? It is critical we try to understand our tasks and look beyond our daily routines. Hence, our personal striving should always strive to perfect the performance of our duties. This is not easy in an age of most daily tasks being of an administrative task, not requiring any input from you to perfect the performance of many tasks. The computer has taken over most of these tasks. Some are certainly good for mankind, but some others maybe not so good. Everyday you should attempt to set aspirations that challenge the status quo. This will put meaning into the actions you perform and will leave their mark in the greater ideals and obligations of humanity. You CAN make a difference. Every action, however small, you make in this regard will have an effect upon the outer world. Trust me! Go out and make your difference, okay?!

Next blog in will proceed to the next consideration, the seventh petal in the larynx-throat chakra, LEARN FROM LIFE.

Until then,
